With a strong commitment to social responsibility and particular emphasis on children\u2019s well-being, we stand by the \u201cGreek Children’s Village\u201d as a supporter and ally of its noble mission.
\nOur journey with the “Greek Children\u2019s Village” in Filyro began in 2008, when we embraced the opportunity to complete, furnish, and equip an unfinished residence for adolescent residents.
\nSince then, we have consistently provided financial assistance, including covering the national property tax from 2020 and onwards, ensuring that the Village can focus on its critical work without this financial burden.
\nThe \u201cGreek Children\u2019s Village\u201d offers a haven for children, advocating for their rights and well-being. It strives to create a familial atmosphere, offering the necessary support and services for each child to develop its personality and skills through tailored interventions in education, psychology, and social interaction.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”\u201cLAMPSI\u201d ASSOCIATION OF PARENTS OF CHILDRENWITH NEOPLASTIC DISEASES OF NORTHERN GREECE” tab_id=”1688628869563-7-9″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

\"\"\u201cLAMPSI\u201d ASSOCIATION OF PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH NEOPLASTIC DISEASES OF NORTHERN GREECE<\/h3>\n

The “LAMPSI” Association was established in 1987 in Thessaloniki by parents from Northern Greece whose children were diagnosed with malignant diseases and were receiving treatment in pediatric oncology units in Thessaloniki. The primary objective of the Association is to ensure optimal medical, psychological, and social care for children with cancer and their families, as well as, raising public awareness regarding the issue of childhood cancer.
\nFor many years, we have been dedicated supporters of the “LAMPSI” Association, providing annual financial contributions to further its significant mission. In 2022, we had the privilege of participating in a challenge grant initiative established by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) in collaboration with “LAMPSI.” This initiative allowed us to match the SNF’s generous donation to assist in covering the operational costs of the Association. This substantial contribution was made in memory of our esteemed colleague, Thomas Makios, co-owner of MAKIOS Logistics.
\nIn 2023, we assumed responsibility for the salary expenses of two pediatricians who were appointed as Academic Fellows in the Pediatric and Adolescent Hematology-Oncology Unit at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of AHEPA Hospital. The introduction of these two Academic Fellows has significantly enhanced the efficiency of the unit, effectively eliminating waiting times for young patients in outpatient clinics. Furthermore, their presence has contributed to the improved implementation of medical protocols, thereby benefiting young patients and providing essential support to their families.
\nIn 2025, we intend to cover the insurance contributions of the psychosocial support team, which comprises three psychologists and one social worker who are present daily in the pediatric oncology departments. The work of this team is diverse and includes offering psychological support to children and their families, facilitating social integration, organizing recreational activities, and raising public awareness about childhood cancer.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”\u201cM\u00c9DECINS SANS FRONTI\u00c8RES\u201d” tab_id=”2d98b73a-21d5-3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Every year, we send electronic greeting cards exclusively from “M\u00e9decins Sans Fronti\u00e8res” (MSF).
\nMSF is an international, independent medical humanitarian organization that provides medical care to people who are excluded from healthcare, as well as to victims of violence, natural disasters or armed conflicts. The organization acts solely based on medical needs, regardless of racial, religious or political criteria. Its aim is to alleviate human suffering and raise public awareness of the humanitarian crises occurring around the world.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”\u201cALMA ZOIS\u201d” tab_id=”1744194182469-8-1″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

The Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer \u201cAlma Zois\u201d is a non-Profit organization, founded in 1988 by women who had personally experienced breast cancer, with the vision of a world without deaths from breast cancer. It offers free, multi-level support to women fighting the disease, enhancing their quality of life, as well as raising awareness among all women about breast cancer and the power of prevention.
\nBeginning in 2024, we participate in the Pink Ribbon campaign, contributing to the ongoing effort to spread the life-saving message of breast cancer prevention, striving to ensure that more lives are saved.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”NETWORK OF SOCIAL SOLIDARITY & ASSISTANCE” tab_id=”1688628224998-1-5″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

\nThe Network of Social Solidarity & Assistance is committed to uplifting individuals, groups, charities, and organizations, while forging vital connections between businesses and vulnerable social groups.
