Our long-term collaboration with HELLENIC DAIRIES S.A., one of Greece’s most dynamic food producers, is rooted in trust, technical alignment, and a clear understanding of what operational excellence requires.
For more than 25 years, we’ve worked closely with OLYMPOS -the group’s flagship brand- on a series of complex implementations. Each one reflects a continued commitment to long-term, high-performance collaboration.
A complex project delivered with precision
In May 2024, FrigoStahl completed a new refrigeration and logistics infrastructure at the OLYMPOS plant in Larissa’s Makrychori Industrial Zone.
The project included:
- A 1,800 m² refrigerated and frozen storage building
- A standalone 800 m² warehouse for chemicals and spare parts
- Full development of surrounding areas totaling 5,000 m²
One of the project’s highlights was the seamless integration of an automated pallet-handling system, implemented in partnership with STAMH LTD, a leader in warehouse automation.
The refrigeration system was designed around ammonia with an external insulated cooler, and a custom ducting solution for precise cooling distribution throughout the space.
Just as crucial was the structural and operational connection to the existing production infrastructure – delivered while the plant remained fully operational. Such conditions demand both technical skill and operational discipline, and our team approached them with the familiarity that comes from years of executing complex builds in live environments.
A build designed for continuity and future growth
This project was not just about additional square meters.
It was about maintaining full production during construction, and delivering infrastructure fully aligned with existing MEP systems.
