The new OB Streem logistics center in Aspropyrgos is not just a 20.000 square meter warehouse. It is the imprint of a shared philosophy: where precision meets trust and expertise meets ambition.
For 25 years, we have been building – literally – along with the MAKIOS team, and now with OB Streem, a relationship grounded in demanding standards and an approach that makes no compromises on quality. At the Ano Fousa project, we didn’t simply delivered a facility. We delivered a work tool, a benchmark, a true extension of the company’s business culture.
The new Aspropyrgos installation was designed and executed entirely with the “turn-key” method, in just 15 months. The architecture, the functionality, the depth of the mechanical and refrigeration systems, and the applications across the various storage zones reflect the experience, precision and attention to detail that have always been – and remain- the foundation of our collaboration with OB Streem.
The facility features solutions of high technical value and operational intelligence: dry-cargo storage, chambers that control the temperature with chilling, freezing and picking zones, an ammonia engine room with eight GEA compressors housed in an independent fire-resistant building, superflat floors for VNA, 25 hydraulic loading docks, 8 dedicated bays for small distribution trucks, a charging network for 100 positions, office and auxiliary spaces exceeding 1.400 m2, as well as Medium – Voltage installations and fire-safety infrastructure with a 600cm water tank.
