Photovoltaic Project for Koukakis Farm
We planned, executed, and completed the design and construction of a photovoltaic power station for self-consumption at the Koukakis Farm distribution center in Neochorouda, Thessaloniki, within just two months. This 149.48KW project not only generates electricity for self-consumption but also provides shading for distribution trucks through a specially designed pergola that supports the photovoltaic panels.
This project marks a significant move by the well-known dairy company toward reducing its energy footprint and utilizing renewable energy sources. The goal is to meet part of the company’s energy demands independently while enhancing the operational efficiency of the distribution center.
Adopting clean energy will help cut carbon dioxide emissions and lower the use of traditional energy sources, integrating cleaner solutions into the energy mix. The project’s environmental benefits are comparable to planting dozens of trees, making it an important step toward sustainable development.
Through projects like this, FRIGO STAHL continues to offer innovative solutions that respect the environment and meet the energy requirements of today’s world.
