Saint Luke's Clinic: Completion of the Expansion with the New Radiosurgery & Radiotherapy Center

We successfully managed and delivered the expansion of Saint Luke’s Clinic, which now includes the International Center for Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Radiotherapy, located in Panorama, Thessaloniki. Leveraging our expertise in handling highly demanding projects, we contributed to the construction of this advanced healthcare facility.

This expansion involved constructing a new five-level building, with two of them below the ground level, connected to the existing clinic through an underground corridor. Covering a total area of 5,000m², the building was designed and constructed according to the highest safety and functionality standards. The construction began in August 2022 and was completed in July 2024, exceedingly even our own expectations.

Our team ensured the delivery of a fully integrated and functional infrastructure, eliminating the need for third-party subcontractors. One of the most complex technical challenges of the project was excavating to a depth of 9 meters, using specialized retaining systems, steel piles, and gunite (sprayed concrete) to guarantee stability.

Additionally, the rooms intended for the linear accelerators feature shielding with C30/37 concrete, with walls ranging from 2.0 to 3.0 meters thick, ensuring protection against X-rays, neutrons, and gamma radiation.
