We are pleased to announce the company’s new parental support policy, introducing a financial birth grant for the arrival of a child.

The policy is fully in effect and applies retroactively from 01/01/2025. It has been implemented for three employees who welcomed a child during this period. Under this new benefit, each company employee will receive a total of 5.000€ for the birth of each child.

Key point of the benefit include:

    • Benefit amount: 5.000€ (total) per childbirth.
    • Payment installments: 2.500€ within the first month following the birth and an additional 2.500€ by the time the child reaches 8 months of age (paid through payroll).
    • Eligibility: All employees with either permanent or fixed-term employment contracts who have completed at least 6 months of continuous employment prior to the date of childbirth. (This benefit does not apply to external partners or independent service providers).
    • Clarifications on applicability: If both parents are employed by FRIGO STAHL, the benefit is paid once per child. Any maternity leave, paternity leave, or sick leave does not affect eligibility for the benefit.
    • Benefit community: If an employee leaves the company after receiving the first installment (2.500€), the benefit remains valid and will continue to apply as normal.
    • Tax exemption: The financial support is not considered taxable income for the employee, in accordance with applicable legislation.
